The Air Up There, Mt. Kalugong

If you go up there, bring the 4x4. I'm not talking about car though you will need it on the very rugged, narrow steep climb. I'm talking bout the 4 sided clear container with a burning liquid that you share with your friends while enjoying the view of La Trinidad and Baguio. One of the highest if not the highest peak in La Trinidad, the home of the famous strawberries.

  9. I thought the area around kalugong was sold and is now private property. Are they building something up there?

  10. Yup it's all private but they're planning to make it a tourist destination. Let's hope it will materialize.
Actually when we climbed, they were forbidding us to enter. But after explaining our purpose, we were allowed to enter.

  11. Yeah I think you should. View is nice up there. Only 4x4 can climb though, otherwise, just hike.

  12. Its going to be a tourist destination but I think you have to be a member. Not open to the public It might be some time sharing thing. Last I went they were planning on building 5 traditional huts. Heres their site but its not updated. www.kalugong.com
